Buffs cash in with Nickleberry

Dallas has T.O. West Texas A&M has T.J. After missing the entire 2007 season with a knee injury, former Palo Duro standout T.J. Nickleberry is back on the field for the Buffs. He got in close to two dozen plays against Southwestern Oklahoma, sharing a tackle. Nickleberry said his mobility again is 100 percent and his technique still is top shelf. "I haven't lost it and now my knee is stable," he said. Nickleberry said the defense has changed greatly since 2006, when he played hurt in all 13 games and had 5.5 tackles for loss and four sacks for minus 23 yards. "There's Brett Watson and Derrick Peeples, but those are the only two I played with. The talent is way more extreme. We have guys who can start anywhere," he said.
