Kingsville fans fired up with 3-1 Javs

West Texas A&M puts its 19-game road winning streak on the line against Texas A&M-Kingsville, which is tough to beat at Javelina Stadium. And while crowds thinned the past two years, when the Javs have posted back-to-back 3-8 seasons, a large turnout is expected when the No. 6 Buffs come to town. The Javs already have won three games this season. Palm trees and gulf breeze aside, the game will be eerily similar to the 2005 game in Canyon, when a suddenly good WT team upset No. 4 A&M-Kingsville. Buffs coach Don Carthell said his team enjoys playing big games in front of big crowds on the road. "They like making them get quiet," he said.
