WT's road wizardry continues

West Texas A&M has won 10 straight home games, last losing to Abilene Christian on Oct. 19, 2006. The Buffs have won 20 straight regular-season road games, last losing 21-20 in Blackwater Draw to Eastern New Mexico on Oct. 9, 2004. The latest win was 55-35 Saturday in Kingsville, in front of a crowd of 8,000-plus and Porky, the Javelina's ill-tempered, four-legged mascot. WT's only two road losses under Don Carthel have been in the Division II playoffs. Fix that and the Buffs will be serious contenders for a national championship.
