Blowout games seem to be the norm for me this season

I can't ever remember seeing so many blowout wins in games that I thought might be close. Another one happened Friday at Sam Bass Stadium in Stratford where the Elks capitalized on early Sunray turnovers to notch a 46-21 win that wasn't as close as the final score might indicate. By the time Sunray had run four offensive plays the Bobcats trailed 21-0. That's because two interceptions on their first two possessions led to Stratford touchdowns and two lost fumbles afterward didn't help either. A couple of weeks earlier I saw Bushland beat Stratford 39-21 when the Elks committed six turnovers. And before that it was White Deer turning the ball over six times in a 44-12 loss to Clarendon. This week I'll be at Canadian for the matchup against Stratford. I have seen a couple of close, down-to-the wire games this season. Maybe this week's will be just that. At least, here's hoping so.
