Flemming out for ACU game

West Texas A&M is going to have to beat Abilene Christian with Keithon Flemming on the sidelines. Flemming, who broke a bone in his right hand against Midwestern State and missed the Eastern New Mexico game, is not expected back until WT plays Tarleton State on Nov. 8. Flemming had 113 yards rushing and a touchdown in the Buffs' 41-31 win over ACU in Abilene last year. Against ENMU, senior Wayne McKnight had his biggest game at WT, rushing for 101 yards on 24 carries and two scores. McKnight will start vs. ACU, with Kelvin Thompson and Jay Tillman likely to see playing time. Flemming, a sophomore, has 424 yards this season and likely won't reach 1,000 for the second year in a row.
