Weird, weirder, weirdest WT win

You knew Saturday night's WT-Eastern New Mexico Wagon Wheel game was going to be weird before it started. The WT band arrives in Greyhound charters. The Greyhounds football team, led by a police car flashing its light, came in a couple of yellow-dog buses. Huh? And while players were ordered from the field three times due to lightning in the area, the ENMU band kept playing in metal bleachers during the storm. A comment in the press box was that the band aboard the Titanic kept playing until the ocean liner made its plunge into the Atlantic. I'll get more into the freshly painted pink visitors locker room on Saturday's Buffs page. It was a weird game. But that's the Wagon Wheel.
