Will District 3-4A eb a Trick or Trea...

Will District 3-4A be a Trick or Treat on Halloween night?
The District 3-4A race reaches a fever pitch tonight with the three games impacting all six teams and the playoffs. Since four of the six teams make the playoffs, we enter week number with no guarantees.
Randall vs. Canyon
Canyon and Randall play in The Battle at the Bro for CISD bragging rights. If Randall wins it clinches a playoff berth and moves to 4-0 in district. If Canyon wins those playoff hopes are very much alive at 2-2.
Palo Duro at Dumas
Palo Duro won its first game of the season last week voer Canyon in that thriller ended by Alfredo Chavez' 44-yard field goal as time ran out. (By the way, Chavez has D-I talent and hopefully will get a chance to prove it). That win put the Dons in the playoff picture at 1-2. But Dumas under coach Mike Burt has ben the surprise team of 3-4A sitting 3-0 and can clinch a playoff berth tonight. The Demnos at home on Halloween night? Scary.
Caprock at Pampa
Caprock has the chance to pull off a feat not seen at that school since 1975. If the Rock defeats Pampa and Palo Duro loses to Dumas, Caprock is in the playoffs for the first time since 1975. Look for Caprock quarteback Artis to play tonight after sitting out last week with an injury.
Pampa might be 0-3 in district, but the Harvesters win their final two games, the playoffs are a possibility.
