High School football season heading for home stretch

A lot of questions will be answered over the next five weeks as district play begins for Classes 4A through Six-Man for most of the teams.
Some districts appear to be fairly clear cut as to playoff teams while others are wide open.
Caprock appears to be in great shape to make its first playoff appearance since 1975, while Nazareth might miss for the first time in a decade.
With four teams making it in 3-4A, anything might happen. There is an outside chance a team with a 1-9 overall record could make the playoffs.
The District 3-1A race is another in which there are plenty of possibilities. Can Boys Ranch make it two playoff appearances in a row, after doing it for the first time in history last season? Can Vega make back-to-back playoff trips after doing it last year for the first time in 18 years?
Those questions, and more, will be answered in the next month. Stay tuned!
