A rough week for picking games

I took it on the chin Friday on my weekly high school picks.
First off, Canadian showed it isn't ready to go quietly into the good night as it beat Stratford in what I said afterward was an ''instant classic'' by a 35-28 margin. It's the second time in three years the Wildcats won at Stratford, and kept intact the fact that the road team has won this great matchup during the last four years.
Borger beat favored Dalhart, Perryton lost to a Lubbock Cooper team that must be improving somewhat and Panhandle lost to Sanford-Fritch after upsetting River Road a week earlier.
The next three weeks likely will bring more upsets as teams make their bid to reach postseason play.
