Stratford vs. Canadian always unpredictable

Although Stratford and Canadian met for only the fourth time this decade on Friday the game seems to have an air of unpredictability.
In 2006, the Elks won at Canadian in a game they dominated. In 2007, the Wildcats returned the favor at Stratford winning 27-20 in a game that went down to the wire.
In 2008, Stratford snapped a 19-game Canadian win streak when it won 17-7 at Canadian. The Wildcats' only TD came on a long punt return. That in itself was shocking because they averaged more than 40 points per game en route to the 1A Division I state title.
So, how do I think Friday's game at Stratford will turn out?
Honestly, I think the Elks will win because in a game like this good defense seems to prevail against high-powered offenses. It did last year, and I'm thinking it will again.
Both teams should make the playoffs and I think both will have a chance to make a deep playoff run again.
